You know those days were you really just want to have something sweet, and delicious, but you can't be asked to pay for any desserts, or make a dessert which a huge recipe.
Well I had that exact craving last night. Now I've made mug cakes, like 3 times, and let me tell you they have failed every single time. Which honestly was so annoying especially if you follow the recipes, and they don't turn out the way you want them to.
All thanks to Pinterest, I was able to find such an easy and quick way to make this brownie mug cake, and guess what? IT ACTUALLY WORKED. The taste was scrumptious, and the texture of the brownie was soft. It was perfect. This recipe serves two people, so you can always half it if you want to make just one.
Ingredients:
3/4 tbsp of Nutella/Hazelnut Spread
4 tbsp of Plain Flour
1 large Egg
Method:
- Gently beat the large egg into a bowl.
- Add 4 tablespoons of plain flour into the same bowl.
- Then add 3/4 tablespoons of nutella.
- Use a whisk, to mix the ingredients together until the batter becomes smooth.
- Grab two mugs, and pour half of the batter into each mugs.
- Put the mug into the microwave for 1 minute. Let the brownie cool off for 5 minutes, then add some fruits, or ice cream or any toppings that you desire to put on the brownie.
When I made this brownie mug cake, then there were no chewy or gooey bit in the brownie, so if you do want that then I suggest you leave the brownie for about 30 seconds in the microwave. It is a messy looking brownie, so if you want, you can scoop out bits of the brownie and place it into a ramekin or in small cute bowl.
That's all. Only 3 ingredients. 1 minute. And 2 brownie mug cakes.
